CareFirst CHPDC Improves Health Care Communication to All
CareFirst CHPDC offers translation and interpretation services for non-English speaking enrollees and the visually and hearing impaired at no extra charge, in order to ensure that all of our enrollees receive the best care.
Interpretation Services
We will provide over the phone, office and hospital interpretation services to our enrollees. If you need interpretation services at a doctor's office, please call us at least 2 business days before your doctor's appointment.

In addition to providing TTY service via 711 for those that have trouble hearing, we also provide materials on audio tape, Braille, and in large print for those who are blind or have trouble seeing. To receive these materials please contact enrollee services at (202) 821-1100 or (855) 326-4831.
